Ufundio

Policies

How Ufundio expects the marketplace to be used, what we do with your information, the rules for the content you publish, and how anyone can report a problem. Written in plain language. Updated July 2026.

Terms of Use

Ufundio is a marketplace that connects people who need a service with people who can provide one — across local, in-person work and globally deliverable online work. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of anything you post, offer, request, or deliver.

You agree not to use Ufundio to offer or request anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful, to impersonate another person or business, or to publish content you do not have the right to share.

Early-stage build. This version is a working product demo. No real payments are processed and no funds are held or transferred; payment states shown are illustrative. Identity “verification” is not yet a legal identity check. Do not rely on it for high-value commitments.

We may remove content, restrict features, or close accounts that break these policies. These terms will be expanded with governing-law and dispute details before a production launch.

Privacy

Public marketplace location is deliberately limited to country, state/region, and city. Ufundio never asks for or displays a precise street address or GPS position in public listings or profiles.

We do not sell your personal information. Any future “use my current location” feature would be optional, private, and used only to improve matching — never added to public posts.

Demo storage note. In this build your activity is stored locally in your own browser, not in a secured multi-user server database. It is not synchronised across devices and is not suitable for secrets, identity documents, or financial records. A production release will move this to an approved, access-controlled database with consent, retention, and deletion controls.

Content & Intellectual Property

You may only upload or publish content that you:

  • Content you own.
  • Content you created yourself.
  • Content you have permission or a licence to use.
  • Content you otherwise have the legal right to publish.

When you publish a service, request, portfolio item, or review, you confirm you have the right to share that content. Do not present someone else’s work as your own, post copyrighted material without permission, or use misleading images or portfolios.

We do not auto-detect ownership. Ufundio cannot and does not automatically determine who owns a piece of content. We rely on your acknowledgement at publish time and on reports from the community, which are reviewed by a person. Repeat or serious infringement can lead to removal.

Reporting & Moderation

Anyone can report a listing, review, profile, or message. Report categories include:

  • Copyright / IP infringement
  • Stolen or misattributed work
  • Impersonation
  • Misleading content
  • Scam or fraud
  • Other policy violation

A report references the exact content being flagged and is recorded with its reason, any details you add, and a status. It is then queued for review by a human moderator.

Moderation is manual. Automated moderation is not implemented, and we will not pretend it is. Reviewing and actioning reports — and building the admin tooling that manages that queue — is ongoing work. Providers cannot edit or delete reviews written about them; reviews are only ever hidden or removed through moderation, never to bury honest feedback.

To report something, use the Report control shown on the content, or email support@ufundio.com with a link and description.
